WAYS TO GET SEED FUNDING FOR YOUR COMPANY.
It is known that every entrepreneur needs to find start-up funds for their venture. Some people go straight to friends and family for money and others take loans out on a house.
I would like to know some of the good and some of the bad ways entrepreneurs go about finding Start-up funds?
Thanks

Here are some insights I learned from Jeff Hoffman, the founder of PriceLine and a brilliant entreprenuer and person. You can check out his bio at http://www.jeffhoffman.com/biography.html
Writing your business plan will not only help you address the issues but also helps you find all the questions. As you write your plan, you'll discover the questions and "unknowns" that need to be addressed. This is help you identify your key success drivers and define what variables are important to your businesses success. These become the benchmarks to measure success by.
The most successful entreprenuers know when to change course and sophisticated investors recognize the best path isn't always what was initially planned. They want to see you realize that too. When the playing field changes, you have to change with it.
"A clever man knows all the right answers and a wise man knows all the right questions." Which would you put your money with? A clever man (or woman) or a wise one?
What a Paradigm shift in thinking, huh!!
Here's an outline for your business plan Jeff revealed in his siminar...use the fololowing questions related to your venture to "tell your story...
Something happened in the world..
That event created a problem
There is big money in solving that problem
What is the "value equation"
I can solve the problem better than it's being done today (point of differentation)
I have a roadmap to that solution
I need the following ($$$) to get there
Lastly, remeber the 3 "C" ...keep it clever, concise
